How

At Edea Design, we designed the WS-130DXH to be more than just a trailer—a comprehensive solution for modern earthmoving needs. Our design focuses on operational safety, manufacturability, and an elevated user experience.

Services: Industrial Design, Concept Development

Visual harmony

Integrated taillights and underride guards enhance aesthetics while enabling street safety and protecting critical components. LED lights, mudguards, and toolboxes were baked into the design to maintain quality and visual coherence, even with local adaptations. The cohesive design language extends across all accessories, reinforcing brand recognition.

Functional design

The conical bed, featuring rounded corners and a higher front, ensures efficient material flow and prevents residue build-up. This design is tailored for seamless excavator operations.

The concept supports implements for traffic guidance and warning lights. This improves operational safety, particularly during roadside work, eliminating the need for additional signal trailers.

Operational aesthetics

Through our partnership with Weckman, Edea Design has redefined what an earthmoving trailer can be. The WS-130DXH exemplifies our ability to merge form and function, creating a product that is not only visually striking but also operationally superior.

This collaboration underscores our expertise in industrial design and our commitment to enhancing user-centric solutions for the heavy machinery sector.
