Tablebed listed as one of The Best Inventions of 2021 by Time Magazine

The Finnish design invention Tablebed has been included in Time magazine’s shortlist, The Best Inventions of 2021. Tablebed is a convertible piece of furniture that transforms from a six-seated table to a double bed, or vice versa, in just ten seconds. Industrial design and mechanical design for Tablebed has been created by ED Design.

From user focus to user-centricity

Listening to users provides the company with important information about what should be done differently in the future and what kind of business model would best serve its customers and the different user groups involved. The user-centric approach, therefore, emphasises the future-oriented approach and the desire to develop the business for the benefit of the customer.

Think differently – think holistically

Far too often we are laser focused on hitting the nail on the head that we forget we are building a house. If you want to clear away the fuzzy front end of development, you need to think holistically.
